The School

The Doon valley Cambridge School is an English-medium, co-educational day boarding school from class nursery to class X. The school is affiliated with the central board of secondary Education, New Delhi. So the course of study is the same as prescribed by the Central Board of secondary education. The campus is spread over an area of 5 acres in a pollution-free environment. The school premises have been constructed to view the requirements of students in the 21st century. The school is situated 3 km from the town of Zira and transport is available for the students. A lot of efforts are made to develop the reading habits and interpersonal communication skills of the students. Particular emphasis is laid on the overall personality development of students. In the pre-primary wing (NUR-UKG), teachers use the latest audiovisual aids in the learning process. In the primary (I-V) and middle branch (VI-VIII), teachers utilize technology to make the learning process enjoyable. In the senior wing (IX-XII), the focus is on achieving "excellent results" in the board examinations.
